The customer’s review went on to recount the detail-oriented way in which Marten helped out: “I wanted to come in today to support a local, family-run business. Dealt with Hal regarding a new push mower I wanted to purchase. He was awesome, took the time to explain every detail and question I had. I purchased the mower, am very happy with it and the exceptional service Hal provided me. Thank you!”

Marten and other recipients of the monthly Above & Beyond Award receive a $100 Visa gift card and are eligible to be named the company’s Employee of the Year, an honor that includes a $1,000 prize.
