Like a pinch hitter who comes through late in a ballgame, Lynn Lueken, an Office Assistant at the Edgewood Spahn & Rose location, stepped up to the plate and knocked it out of the park.
Lueken received the May 2018 Going Above & Beyond Award for gladly taking on additional responsibilities.
“Lynn welcomed the extra challenges and added responsibilities after a long-term employee retired,” says Tony Ostwinkle, general manager of the Spahn & Rose Edgewood location. “We are very appreciative of her hard work and quick learning, all while wearing a big smile. Thank you, Lynn, for all that you bring to Spahn & Rose!”
Lueken previously worked at Spahn & Rose from 2002 to 2006; she began working in her current position in 2015. During her typical day, Lueken does data entry, handles front-counter sales and manages office traffic. Providing excellent customer service, she says, leads to happier customers—and more of them.
“If the customer is satisfied, they will be back and let others know about Spahn & Rose,” Lueken says. “If our customers succeed, we succeed.”
In her off time, Lueken enjoys spending time outdoors and spoiling her granddaughter.
