NEW SPAHN & ROSE WEBSITE INCLUDES MASSIVE ONLINE CATALOG EXPANSION

This month, Spahn & Rose launched a new website loaded with additional features, including a massively expanded online product catalog. Even better: All items in the expanded catalog are readily available for in-store, no-touch pickup.

“It’s super-efficient and very convenient to use Spahn & Rose online ordering,” says Josh Mozena, Assistant General Manager of the Dubuque Spahn & Rose location.  “Unlike standing in line or waiting for help at a big-box store, products are easy to find, and they’ll be waiting for you at your nearest Spahn & Rose location.”

Through the expanded Spahn & Rose online catalog, you can order items that are sometimes hard to find—air filters and corrugated roof panels, for instance. Another recent example: A customer at the Dubuque Spahn & Rose location had already visited all the local big-box stores looking for a specific wooden toilet seat. Within minutes of her stepping into Spahn & Rose, Mozena helped her find the product through the store’s kiosk. The customer ordered it and within a few days had the seat.

One of the best features of the new online catalog is its comprehensive search function, Mozena says: “The search on the website is really well-tuned. You don’t have to go hunting through hundreds of items on several pages. The search dials in what you’re looking for so you can find it quickly.”

Fast search and easy in-store pickup means contractors in particular will save valuable time. “Instead of driving around looking for something,” Mozena says, “contractors will have the convenience of knowing Spahn & Rose will have exactly what they’re looking for, whether it’s a specialty ruler or Stiletto hammers, which contractors have recently ordered online and picked up in-store.”

Spahn & Rose’s expanded online ordering system also comes in handy during the COVID-19 pandemic, not just for no-touch pickup but also because the greater selection means customers have more access to products that for a variety of reasons have been difficult to buy during the pandemic: canning jars and lids, kids’ swimming pools and cleaning products, among others. “The amount of products we have now has grown by leaps and bounds,” Mozena says. “We now have connections to a wide variety of specialty manufacturers with many products: chainsaws, hoses, gloves, brooms, shingles and other building materials.”
