A couple in Bettendorf, Iowa, recently visited Dawn Tiesman, a Cabinet Designer at the DeWitt Spahn & Rose location, to consult about a kitchen redesign. Her creative solution was to design a large, bat-wing-style island backed with shiplap and an X-shaped endcap to provide plenty of seating adjacent to a custom bar space. Then, to complement the couple’s gourmet kitchen, Tiesman added Shaker-style white cabinetry from Wellborn Forest. Their dream kitchen had become a reality.
“We deliberated between layouts and designs with multiple ways to make the best use of space,” Tiesman says. “This was certainly a fun one to work on, and the couple was thrilled with the outcome.”
