Combining software and tool technology, this cloud-based system helps contractor companies easily track and manage tool inventory at multiple job sites from a central location or via phone through the ONE-KEY app. This free inventory program, a new feature of the ONE-KEY line of Milwaukee tools, both streamlines productivity and prevents loss.
Information accessible through the ONE-KEY system includes purchase history, tool status and location, performance reports and maintenance schedule. Users can assign tools to specific job sites, people or vehicles, saving money and time by keeping track of tools’ location—which is updated automatically
ONE-KEY is compatible with the Tick tracking tool, which can be attached to just about any piece of equipment—ladders, air compressors, tool boxes and more. ONE-KEY also enables you to “lock out” any missing tool, disabling it until it’s recovered.
The system’s tool customization enables you to optimize a given tool for a specific job, saving money by reducing damage to fasteners and building materials. The optimization settings help extend tools’ lives, and up to four customized profiles can be saved in the tool memory: In a ONE-KEY enabled saw, for example, you can dial in the ideal speeds for a smoother start and to best cut through a certain material.
