Celebrating with wine, music, food and door prizes, attendees of Spahn & Rose’s 4th Annual Girls’ Night Out on September 27 raised money and collected a truckload of additional donations for the Dubuque Regional Humane Society.

Starting Wednesday, March 25th all Spahn & Rose retail locations will be conducting walk-in business by appointment only. Phone, email and fax orders will be accepted. Materials will still be available for pickup. Pick-up protocols minimizing human-to-human contact will be used on all pickup. Delivered orders will be set in the driveway or curbside only. On December 19, representatives from more than three dozen charities gathered at the Spahn & Rose Dubuque location for Big Red Check Day, where community leaders and representatives of 38 charitable organizations could mix, mingle, enjoy snacks—and, of course, receive some ginormous checks from Spahn & Rose.
The Cresco Spahn & Rose invites builders, contractors and their families to its Spring Show on Thursday, March 12, from 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Expo Center in the Howard County Fairgrounds. (more…)

On August 10, hurricane-force winds of over 100 mph tore across Iowa, leaving a wide swath of devastation behind. An estimated 14 million acres of crops were damaged, silos and other buildings were leveled and more than 400,000 Iowans lost power.
John Cook, the General Manager of Spahn & Rose’s Dubuque location, is locked up—in a manner of speaking. He was thrown in the Dubuque Regional Humane Society’s doghouse, and he won’t be freed until contributors raise $2,000.
